3. Service Estimates

We provide free estimates for all moving services. The estimate is based on the details you provide, and the final charges may vary depending on the complexity of the move, additional services required, and any unforeseen circumstances during the move. An official contract will be presented to you before the move begins.

4. Payment Terms

For moving services, a deposit may be required prior to scheduling the move. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the move. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or other agreed-upon methods.

  • Deposit: A deposit is required to confirm the booking of the move, which will be applied towards the total cost.
  • Payment Due: The full balance is due upon completion of the moving services or when the services are rendered.

In the case of long-distance moves or storage, additional charges may apply based on the specific needs of the client.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled moving date. Cancellations made after this period will incur a cancellation fee of [XX%] of the total cost. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but additional charges may apply depending on availability.

6. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you are responsible for the following:

  • Preparing Items for Moving: All items must be packed and prepared for transportation in a safe and organized manner. We are not responsible for damage to items that were improperly packed or not ready for moving.
  • Access to Property: You must ensure that there is easy access to both the pickup and delivery locations. Any parking restrictions, building regulations, or specific access instructions must be communicated beforehand.

7. Our Responsibilities

We are committed to providing high-quality moving services. Our team will:

  • Handle your belongings with care and professionalism.
  • Transport your belongings in safe and secure vehicles.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Take reasonable precautions to protect your property from damage during the move.

However, Saint Augustine Movers is not responsible for any damage caused by factors outside of our control, such as weather, road conditions, or accidents.

8. Liability and Insurance

Saint Augustine Movers offers basic liability coverage for your move, which covers a certain amount per pound of damaged goods. If you wish for additional coverage, you may purchase supplemental insurance for a higher level of protection.

We are not responsible for any damage to items not packed by us, or damage caused by improper packing or inherent risks related to the item.

10. Prohibited Items

For your safety, we do not transport hazardous or illegal items. This includes, but is not limited to:

We reserve the right to refuse to transport any items that we deem unsafe or prohibited.

11. Termination of Services

Saint Augustine Movers reserves the right to terminate services if we encounter circumstances that prevent us from safely performing the move or if the client violates the terms of service, including non-payment or providing false information.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Saint Augustine Movers, its employees, agents, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from your actions or the actions of anyone associated with the move.

13. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Florida. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be resolved in the courts of Florida.
